9 Stunning Flower Shows to See In March 2018!
After a brutal winter, we all need some relief from the dreary, cold lingering winter months. Why not consider attending a flower show in 2018?
- Philadelphia Flower Show – this is the biggy in historic Philadelphia beginning Saturday, March 3 to Sunday, March 11.
- The Orchid Show at the New York Botanical Garden in Bronx, New York from Saturday, March 3 to Sunday, April 22.
- The Boston Flower and Garden Show in Boston from Wednesday, March 14th thru Sunday, March 18th.
- 2018 National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC from March 17th thru April 15, 2018 tentatively. The National Park Service predicts peak bloom of the cherry trees is from March 17 through March 20. The Cherry Blossom Festival will begin on March 17 with the opening of the Tidal Basin Welcome area. Some of the events include the Pink Tie Party (March 15), Opening Ceremony (March 24), Blossom Kite Festival (March 31), Petalpalooza (April 7), National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade (April 14). Cherry Blossoms can be seen at three different locations such as the Tidal Basin in West Potomac Park, Hains Point in East Potomac Park, and the Washington Monument grounds. Free access but a fee is charged for parking.
- Macy’s Flower Show at Macy’s Herald Square (Garment District), New York beginning Sunday, March 25 through Sunday, April 8. This years theme is carnival. Free!
- Macy’s Flower Show at Macy’s City Center, Philadelphia from Sunday, March 25 through Sunday, April 8. A Carnival theme is planned. Free!
- Macy’s Flower Show at Macy’s on State Street, Chicago from Sunday, March 25 through Sunday, April 8. A Carnival theme is planned. Free!
- Macy’s Flower Show at Macy’s Union Square, San Francisco from Sunday, March 25 through Sunday, April 8. A Carnival theme is planned. Free!
- The Galleria Mall in Edina, Minnesota from Sunday, March 25 through Sunday, April 8. A Spring is in the Air theme is planned for the Edina event. Free!
