Hello!
Do you have a suggested nursery to recommend on purchasing different colors of echinacea? I have plenty of the regular purple variety but I’d like to aff some other colors to the berms in my backyard.
Thanks,
Cindy
Hi Cindy,
There are several. If your local nursery doesn’t have anything that you like, you can try these. I’ve ordered from all four of these online sellers and have received good quality plants.
Bluestone Perennials – website
Wit’s End Gardens (Iowa) – website
High Country Gardens (feature sustainable gardening) – website
Burpee Garden – website
These nurseries may not have many echinacea available now but in the Spring they should have some for sale.
The last link is to a grower in Zeeland, Michigan – Walters Gardens Inc. They don’t sell directly to the public but you can read about the different coneflowers (echinacea) plants they grow. Walters Gardens is also a Proven Winners Grower. Walter Gardens Inc – website
We too love coneflowers! Happy Gardening – Mary @FindingSeaTurtles.com
